Over the past few months, I've been learning iOS programming with Objective-C. My iPad app comes as work my employer did for a client, Author Solutions, based in Bloomington, IN, and is based on the popular classic novel: Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Dracula HD, was a collaborative effort, with myself and Greg Woods from Westlake Design doing the Objective-C programming, and Mark Westlake, our boss, doing project management copy layout and making design descisions. My focus was on setting up the code, APIs, transitions, animations, copy layout etc. And Greg Woods's part focusing primarily on animation and the integration of physics using the open-source Chipmunk Physics library.
We also brought in a good friend of mine, Greg Wright, who composed a compelling and elegant original musicalscore, in addition to finding and mastering our sound effects.
On Author Solutions's side, Stephen Adams and the rest of the team there provided the artwork and the vision for how interaction should work, in addition to creating an abridged version of the novel.
