Portraits of Blue and Red
Screaming angrily with hostility and blinding fury
Grinding down a gust of wind into pebbles and starlight
Filling my lungs quickly and painfully with breathlessness
Becoming shredded cheese and madness
And madness upon the opposite walls
Blown upon by the breeze
Don't worry my flooding lamplight
Please don't empty me,
Like your brightness onto the night
Standing in a puddle
Watching while an angry,
Drifting, limp and saturated leaf floats by
My eyes sharpened on its crooked
And not too clearly defined edges
Submerged in water and giggling crevasses
And it becomes easier
To count out the rhythm and follow the beat
To the echoes splashing through my swollen head
And leaking out through my feet
Grinding down a gust of wind into pebbles and starlight
Filling my lungs quickly and painfully with breathlessness
Becoming shredded cheese and madness
And madness upon the opposite walls
Blown upon by the breeze
Don't worry my flooding lamplight
Please don't empty me,
Like your brightness onto the night
Standing in a puddle
Watching while an angry,
Drifting, limp and saturated leaf floats by
My eyes sharpened on its crooked
And not too clearly defined edges
Submerged in water and giggling crevasses
And it becomes easier
To count out the rhythm and follow the beat
To the echoes splashing through my swollen head
And leaking out through my feet
